Letter From The Founder

Dear Time Twist Babes, 

First of all, thank you for checking out our website! I am glad that you found your way here. At Time Twist, we create clothing pieces that are classic, comfortable, and cool. My name is Mikayla Kitsopoulos and I am the founder of the brand. I thought of the name of our brand when I was just seven years old. I was sitting in a room of fashion executives, as they conversed about the name of their newest company. They asked me to think of a name for the company and I immediately said, "Time Twist." It was the first two words that came to my mind. It was meaningless in the moment. I had simply seen the clock in the room and blurted the words out. That day, the team decided on a different name for their company. But, I chose to hold onto my idea. Twelve years later, I have made this vision a reality.

Our "it girl" is a chic and confident city girl. Having grown up in New York City myself, I am constantly inspired by the fashion that surrounds me. New York City is the most magnificent place. It is unlike any other place in the world. I created Time Twist Denim as a love letter to my city. I wish to honor this special and diverse city. Each piece of denim is inspired by and named after a street in New York City. We will be dropping the denim by neighborhood. Our first drop will be called "The SoHo Drop." I chose to drop our SoHo inspired collection first, as SoHo has played a very important role in my life over the past couple of months. Each neighborhood in New York City reminds me of a certain time in my life, and I want to express that through the denim. This first drop is creative, funky, and  expressive, but also mature and chic. I am so excited for you all to see the pieces! I hope that you all like them.
